Heather Deraway

Chef Heather Deraway, has had the opportunity to travel all over the world to work in the food service industry. Heather attended Johnson and Wales University majoring in Culinary Arts, while also apprenticing with MOF Georges Berger. Upon completion of her degree, she worked in the Hamptons in New York as a private chef and stagier, then received an offer from a friend to work in Las Vegas. She then worked for Chef Alain Ducasse for a year and a half, before moving to Avignon France. While there, she had the opportunity to cook in Germany, Portugal, Italy, and Spain. After staying in France for approximately 3 years, she then traveled to work in Connecticut, Beijing, Boston, and now has made her way back to Pittsburgh where she wanted to stay due to getting tattooed by a Pittsburgh artist.
